Katie Bertram brings a broad range of skills in content development, website optimization and multi-platform advertising to the Digital Practice at Edelman in Washington DC. In her current role, Katie runs paid amplification campaigns, directs landing page optimization efforts, manages the website content creation process and copywrites social ads and posts for an array of technology clients. Katie also oversaw the content strategy for BlackBerry’s B2B social channels and provided real-time support during the launch of BlackBerry 10 and BlackBerry Live Conference.
Prior to joining Edelman, Katie worked at LEVICK, a Washington DC-based crisis communications agency, where she specialized in social media strategy, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM). Katie managed a variety of campaign initiatives, ranging from blog and social content creation to website development, helping to increase the online presence for clients in crisis situations.
Katie has also interned with Isobar, a digital agency in in Sydney, Australia, where she conducted extensive research on the latest digital and social media initiatives.
Katie graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She also received Google AdWords certification in August 2012.
